A weekend of accidents – Part I

Poor Bryan was involved in series of “accidents” last weekend.On Saturday morning, I was about to leave the house for my pre-CNY facial, when I heard a loud THUD and then “Wuaahhhhhhhhh.” He had climbed down from the sofa and was trying to hold on to the coffee table when he slipped and knocked the side of his eyes against the coffee table side.

I really panicked at that time and want to take him to see the PD immediately, any PD. His regular PD is located in town, so I told hubb to just take him to the nearest hospital to check. Hubb checked Bryan and says that there are no bleeding at the eye. He says that the injuries seem to be at skin level, so should be ok. Besides, Bryan stopped crying after 3 minutes, and was back to his active and happy self.

On Monday, my colleague said that she had a friend who had to wear thick glasses because her eyesight was damaged during a fall, and she did not receive prompt medical attention.

I panicked again, coz the skin around the eye is blue black now. Took him to see the PD that afternoon, and after a thorough check, PD confirmed that he is OK. And since Bryan did not have multiple vomits and are still active after the fall, he is OK.

Phew….i am so relieved to hear that. Hubb was worried too. He called me a few times and left sms asking me to confirm if his precious baby is ok.

and 3 days after the fall, all blue black. So kesian.

    Aiyoh! Poor Bryan! The bleeding area must be really painful… did you tr to use a cold towel to lighty wipe his eyes after the fall? So kesian seeing him with the blue-black.

    Must be painful, but notty boy only cry 3 mins. I so sakit hati to see him…even until now. We want to wipe with towel, but he kept pushing us away. It was not until we see the bruise days later, that we regretted not using the icepack on him, even if it means by force.

    aiyoo..poor thing…hope he gets well soon, maybe use a rice ball wrap with cloth and roll around it?
