I read with envy when some mothers say how their babies open their mouth for them to wash their teeth.

Bryan hates it when we try to clean his mouth. He will clamp his mouth shut tightly and will whine and whine. Usually, we’ll have to do it by force. Thus we don’t do it everyday. Usually we’ll do it when we notice that his teeth is getting yellow *Ewww*, so no choice.

The least we can do is to make sure that we always give him plain water after every meal/ snack to help wash away the food residue.

And recently i bought him a kiddy toothbrush. Although i seldom brushes my teeth in front of him, my mother does, so he knows how it works immediately. He loves playing with it during bathtime but refused to let us use it on him.

So i just let him play with it, hoping that

* he’ll get used to it and eventually let us help him with it.

* the toothbrush playing will help to clean his teeth a bit.
