All About Bryan and Dylan

#1: His PD. We took him for his checkup last Saturday. The moment he walked into the PD’s office, he started crying. Hubb was holding him and he hugged hubb tightly and said, “Kia, kia (go, go)” and pointed to the door.

PD found it quite funny and said to him, “Ok la, we kia together.”

Bryan shook his head and urged hubb towards the door, saying “kia” non stop.

He had developed a fear for his PD due to vaccinations. Previously he was ok, but since about 1 month ago, he got scared from the vaccinations. And matters were made worse when he had to be admitted for Cosackie and he had to go through the countless medical examinations & procedures. The PD was also “guilty” of withdrawing blood samples from him and inserting a needle into his wrist.

#2: Barber shop We took him for his long overdue haircut yesterday. The shop was full when we walked in. I thought it would be a good opportunity to explain to Bryan that there is nothing to fear by showing him how haircuts are done on other people.

Mana tau, 5 seconds in the shop, he started crying and said, “Kia kia” again, pointing to the door of course.

He cried his hearts out when the barber worked on his hair. And the moment I told him, that is done and we can leave. He stopped crying and said, “Kia kia” motioning me towards the door.

Sis took him kai-kai (out) last Friday. On the way out, sis asked Bryan, “Kia go kai-kai, see Dr S– (PD).” Bryan immediately shook his head.

Before his hair cut, hubb taught Bryan the meaning of hair cut. Bryan will hold his head/ hair when we said, “What is haircut?”

Now when we ask him
We: Haircut how?
Bryan: (Put his hand on his head)
We: Kia, go haircut
Bryan: (immediately shake his head)

Poor boy……
