More baby talks

Bryan is pretty good at communicating and telling us what he wants. Of course his conversation skills right now is just limited to those who sees him regularly, namely my mom, dad, sis, hubb and I. He is adding more words to his vocab but it takes a trained ear to understand what he meant.

He has recently upgraded hubb from “Papa” to “Daddy”. But he found another use for the word Papa…he will say it when he doesn’t want something. I think this started because hubb likes to kacau him. And when he gets irritated with hubb, he will scream, PAPAPAPAPA.

Yesterday night, hubb found him in an awkward sleeping position, so he tried to gently move him to a more comfortable position. Bryan was startled by the move and started to scream PAPA PAU PAU, PAPA PAUPAU. Pau pau = carry, so he meant…”Don’t carry me.”

This evening, while having dinner with us, my mom’s neighbour came looking for mom, and mom went out to talk to her. This Bryan also kepo and wanted to go out as well. He kept saying PAPA PAPA because he doesn’t want to eat anymore. When my mom finally came to carry him out, he said, “Loh Ti, Ah pau” and pointed towards the door. Apparently he thinks mom is going outside to buy bread and he wants to go as well. (the bread van usually comes in the evening).

This evening, he want to get our help to get on his tricycle. So I asked him

Me: Do you want to sit on the tricycle?
Bryan: Sit *pat the tricycle seat*
Me: Go ask daddy for help
Bryan: Daddy help….sit *pat tricycle seat again*
Me: *Smiling proudly*
