Sixth sense

I have been telling Bryan the last few weeks that mommy will be going for a business trip. But usually when i tell him, he does not seem to care.

But yesterday night, when I tuck him to bed, he was unusually clingy. He asked for me to carry him while I sang him his lullabies. And i did. And he hugged me and lay his head on my shoulder while I gently pat his pat and continue singing to him.

Today, I did not go to the office as I am scheduled to take the evening’s flight.

So i took him to my mom’s place and after he had his early lunch, took him shopping.

Fed him his milk after shopping and tried getting him to nap. FAILED! He refuse to go to sleep and demand that I play with him eventhough I can tell that he is already very tired.

Mom came to took over and soon he was asleep.

But later, he woke up crying for “Mama” Mama” and he normally never does that during afternoon naps at my mom’s place.

It was as if he knows that I will be away ….

This business trip is going to be a hard one to take.
