Sand & Sea..I’m loving it!

I’ve been delaying doing this post because I wanted to do a photoscrap on it. But I could not find time to do it…so never mind liao la.
We took Bryan to the beach again during the Merdeka day holidays. Met up with my friend, her husband and her two kids as well. My friend and I have always been planning to go out and have fun with our kids for months, but we never managed to meet up until then. Our schedule always seem to conflict.
Anyway, we were blessed with good weather on the Merdeka Friday afternoon although it had rained the last few days and in that morning also. So we head towards the beach.
This is the 2nd time for Bryan at the beach, and again he showed no fear at all at the sand & sea. In fact he wanted to go to the sea immediately. He kept saying ..”yiu yong” (swimming). Since the waves was very mild and he seemed so comfortable, after a while, we decided to let him walk by himself.
He was very comfortable walking on the sand but seemed afraid when walking unsupported by the shoreline.
Later we took out his sand castle toys and let him enjoy building sandcastle with his new friends.
Actually, I think he spent more time digging sand and later trying to bury himself in the sand than playing with his friends.
He loves playing with older children who knows how to entertain him but I think he is still a little too small to play with kids his own age by himself.
It was a great time at the beach and Bryan was very reluctant to leave. When the weather improves (it is rainy season now), we will definitely go to the beach again

Looks like he had a lot of fun! I think I will freak out seeing Charlotte full with sand and dirt :p
Shooi: Aiya, getting dirty is fun la…Shd let Charlotte try one of these days *wink*

that’s good he can sit and build his own sand castle. Mine still refuse to step on the sand Dunno why
Shooi: Cannot really build sandcastle la. I tried to show him but he just dig, dig and dig…LOL
*gets Ethan ready for some fun in the sun*
Can Ethan join in too?
Shooi: Oh sure…it’ll be fun to have a beach playgrp
It’ll take awhile for baby to learn and grow from parallel play to playing with other kids. But he’ll get there soon….
Shooi: *waiting, waiting for the day to come…*
Wow, he’s so at home with the sand. What a brave boy he is
Shooi: err…brave?? To him, it is just more fun…
Hey, next time no need to let him wear diapers. Just wear swimming trunklah. If he wee wee, then just go down to the sand.
Shooi: i know…we realized the mistake when it was too late. His diaper was soo heavy with sea water when he went to the sea to play…LOL
Hhhmmm… play in the sand.. good idea leh..
Shooi: Oh yes it is!
The sunny weather is definitely back!
Hope Bryan will have more fun time at the beach… We brought Darrius to the beach almost every alternate week!
After all, it’s FREE!!! heehe…. ok, me chepo mommy!

WX still has phobia when i said want to bring her to beach, she keep saying “ek ek, dirty” :p
