Toilet training - Some progress…

We have been teaching Bryan to wee-wee into a cup for more than a month now. However, he is still on diaper 24×7. We just have to keep reminding him to go wee-wee but if we don remind him, he will also not tell us.

Yesterday, after his afternoon nap, my parents took a bold step. They let him go diaperless after his afternoon nap.

I picked up Bryan around 9pm yesterday and to my surprise, my parents told me that there were no “accidents” eventhough he was diaperless the whole evening.
My parents reminded him to go wee-wee or if my parents don’t, Bryan will tell them that he wants to go Shee-shee.

I put on his diaper before we took him home in the car but as soon as we got home, I took off the diaper and let him wear just pants. I only let him wore diaper before he goes to sleep.

Looks like he knows that when he is not on diaper, he have to go toilet shee-shee but not when he has diapers on.

So, I am going to take the bold step of letting him go diaperless when he is awake and at home this weekend…hopefully there will be few or no “accidents”…

    Yes, good progress.

    He is indeed ready.

    1. Just remind him when he is diaperless.
    2. Remind him when you think its time to wee.
    3. Expect some accident. The most important thing is tell him not to move when there is accident.

    Good luck!

this is a good sign… he seems like understand when it’s time to wee wee. En En will tell us that she wants to do her big business… we still working hard to make her understand time for wee wee must tell.
