Bryan remembers

Charlotte’s mommy commented in my earlier post that Bryan will soon forget about the old house once he spends more and more time at the new house. I seriously doubt it. He is going to remember his old home for a long time…when there are so many happy memories at the place.

***********
Yesterday night, we went to dinner with my husband’s colleagues. While I was changing his clothes at my mom’s place…

Bryan: Huei chia mai (Go home, no)
Mummy: Mei You huei chia. Chu mum-mum (We’re not going home. We’re going to dinner)
Bryan: Mum-mum mai. Chu KL (Dinner, no. Go KL)
Mummy: Chu KL…chuo sen mo? (Go KL for what?)
Bryan: Chu KLCC…kan yu (Go KLCC, look at fish)

We took him to the KLCC Aquaria during Raya Holidays, more than 2 months ago, and he still remembers the trip.

*************
He loves going to Charlotte’s house but we have not been there for more than 2 months. Every once in a while, he will ask

Bryan: Mummy, go auntie HL’s house.
Mummy: Ok, ok, when auntie HL and Charlotte is free, then we go ok.
Bryan: Go draw-draw, go swimming
Bryan: Hai you bubble, puok (And bubbles too, burst - while demonstrating how to burst the bubble with his index finger)
Mummy: Sure, we can go there to do some drawing, swimming and bubbles too!
Bryan: Go driving (Charlotte has a cute Volkswagon car)
Bryan: Wu Tiek ker (Butterfly song – the car has a button that plays different songs. One of the is butterfly song, a mandarin children’s song)
