Dylan’s Full Moon

Time really flies. Dylan will be 1 month old in another 2 days time. But we decided to celebrate a little earlier, weekend mah…easier to coordinate.Hubb fetched MIL along when he deliver the full moon sets to her house in the morning. I stayed at home and while he was gone, gave Dylan a nice bath and then change him to a new suit that my parents had bought him.

During Bryan’s full moon, we shaved his head bald. Bryan had patchy hair at birth and thus hubb decided to shave it all away to even things out. Bryan actually looked way cuter with a bald head than with the patchy hair style.

With Dylan, we think he has gorgeous hair, and therefore no need to shave. So what hubb was just to ceremoniously cut a small bit of hair off.

Then the ceremony to shave his eyebrows.

It was believed that if you shaved the hair during full moon, the baby will have thicker hair. Although I don’t believe in these superstition, there is no harm to do things just for the ceremony. Besides, I don’t mind my son being more good looking *chuckle.* Anyway, it makes the elders happier…

Then it is the prayers time.

And big kor-kor Bryan wants to pray as well.

Finally mommy gets to be in the photo. (mommy was busy snapping photos earlier)

And Daddy too…(Dylan even “smiled” in this photo)

And for the grand finale…our first family photo.
