2 weeks ago, Bryan gave me this when I picked him up at school

As he gave me the flower, he said “Happy Mother’s Day Mummy. Thank you, I love you.” *KISS* *HUGGSSS*

So I got a pink carnation flower instead of a blue flower. Hehehe.

And last Monday, Bryan took these to school…

There are 7 flowers all together. 5 for the teachers, 1 for the principle and 1 for the auntie who helps with the cooking & cleaning. The school is still new, and currently there is only the 4 yr old class & the 18mth-3 year old class. But I know all the teachers do help to take care of all the kids, regardless of whether the kid is in their class or not. So everyone at school got a flower & a card.

I had also baked a peach cake for the teachers’ party on Saturday. They held one at the old school, just after Bryan’s weekend play session.

I tried to get Bryan to help as much as possible in the making of the flowers.

I “tried” to teach him how to fold the flower.

I wrote the teachers’ and his name in pencil and got him to trace it with his magic ink. This one he did ok as he has been doing a lot of writing exercise. But I had to watch and guide him or he will be scribbling all over the card.

I tried to get him to punch the holes for the card, but he did not have the strength to punch through the thick card.

Lastly, I got him to thread the ribbon through the flower stalk. This one he managed to do a few until he got bored.

And the portion that he enjoyed most?

Spraying the completed flowers with cologne…hahaha… I have a bottle of light fragrance cologne from one of the blog reviews and so I din care if how much he sprayed on the flowers. Hey, flowers must smell nice right, even paper flowers icon biggrin May Flowers

The fragrance is very light, and I am sure most of it is gone by the time the teachers got it.

The last thing I taught him is to give each flower/card to the teachers and wish them Happy Teacher’s Day. But this, I am not sure if he did it right icon razz May Flowers
