HFM – Getting better….

By Tuesday, Bryan had almost fully recover and was wolfing down char siu paus. By Wednesday, he is back to his regular diet. He told me cannot drink only yogurt drink, must eat porridge. And he added that he only drink a little bit of yogurt drink nia cause he ate the porridge that popo cooked.

Dylan suffered a little longer. His recovery was slower than Bryan because he did not take as much liquids. Bryan treated the fridge like his open bar and drank bottles of yogurt and milk when it was painful for him to take solids. Dylan just refused to take anything. Thank goodness, I have my parents and my aunt around to coax him to take his liquids..otherwise…cham liao.

Dylan’s blisters popped up on Sunday but he only began to complain of pain on Monday and it continued till Tuesday evening. By late Tuesday evening, he still refused to drink liquids willingly …pain wor… BUT he can eat Sugus sweets and can chew the multivit tablets. So we know he is recovering then already.

We took Dylan to see the PD on Wed afternoon. And PD confirmed that the blisters are reducing, and said that he should be able to eat now. Yeah, he can already by then cause he ate half a char siu pau at my mom’s house before I took him to the clinic. But upon getting home to my mom’s house, he still was not drinking much…Pain wor.. (again) but can eat bak chang. (You say la this boy).

When I took him home on Wed night, he was a happy boy. Had a fun time eating chocolate yogurt and getting his face all dirtied with chocolates. Everyone (including himself) had such a fun time laughing at him and the mess he made of himself.

This morning, I made him a bottle of milk, but he refused to take it. Instead he ate half a mug of thick oatmeal, and even asked for more when that is finished. I think my boy is really recovering already. I am so heppiiiiiiiiiii.
