Double Standard

It is true. Children behaved differently in school and at home.
School: Eats whatever the school gives him. Never heard of any complaint from his teachers.
Home: Picky la. Don wan vege, don wan this today, don wan that tomoro…
School: Can take off his own pants.
Home: He did try, but usually he waits for us to take [...]

Enjoying school

After 2 months, I think Bryan can finally be considered settled at playschool. He was absent from school last week due to his throat and ear infection. Thus, his teacher and I were a little worried when he returned to school last morning.
But surprisingly, he only cried and whine when he was entering his playschool. [...]

After breakfast this morning, Bryan told me, “
Bryan: Mummy I want to go Tumbletots.
Me: Huh?? You want to go Tumbletots?
Bryan: I want to go school
Me: You want to go school *sheesh I am sounding like a parrot*
Bryan: Huan yi foo chu school (Change clothes and go to school)
Me: Ok, Ok, mummy change clothes then we [...]

Bryan was doing great at the half day program. But when I had to return to work early this month, we switched him to full day.

Playgroup - update

Bryan is really settling down to the playgroup. He still cries every morning when we leave for school but the time he spent crying at the playgroup is getting considerably less.
