After that I serve him a big bowl of Taiwan mango (expensive but not as sweet as I expected). Both he and Bryan loved the mango though it wasn’t very sweet and asked for second rounds. Bryan told me,

Bryan: Mommy, you must let us eat balanced diet. A lot of fruits and vegetables. Then only we got a lot of poo poo and the poo poo can come out easily. Just now I poo*, a little bit only. So you must give me more fruits and vegetables.
(he said that because he wants more mango, he was walloping the mangoes so fast so that he can eat more than Dylan).

*p/s: both my kids have this bad habit. one kid poo, the other kid also want to poo. My father said it is like their butt is stuck together..hahahaha.

Later the mangoes , I told him to brush his teeth again. He already brushed them earlier during his shower.

Bryan: But i already brushed my teeth just now.
Mommy: Brush again. Cause you just ate mangoes and mangoes are sweet right. If you don’t brush later the chong chong come eat your teeth.
Bryan: The the teeth becomes black like TTE issit? (a girl at his class)
Mommy: Yes, like TTE.
Bryan: No lah mommy. TTE’s teeth is black because she didn’t drink a lot of milk la. Not enough protein.
Mommy: O.o No, it is not protein, it is not enough calcium.
Bryan: Ah..Calcium but protein also. YOu need a lot of protein then only can be healthy.

I can’t believe I am having conversation about diet and nutritional values with a boy that is not even 5 yet. Kids are so knowledgeable nowadays.

While hubb was driving the kids home from school last Monday, the kids were chatting at the back by themselves. When they passed some new houses, he heard

Bryan: Wah..look at this house. It is so big.
Dylan: Wah, the house so big…
Bryan: I like the house, so nice.
Dylan: Yes lo, so nice. I like big house.
Bryan: Yes, I like big house, I don’t like old house (I think he was referring to our old apartment, he always refer to it as old house.)

Haizzz…mummy also like big house. But too bad, we don’t print money and mummy don’t have the energy to clean up a bigger house. So too bad, you guys are stuck in our current house! If you like big house, then you gotta buy your own.

This is the boys latest favorite game…one of them pushing the other round and round the room.

Usually it is Dylan pushing Bryan around as he being the smart one..will usually get into the bicycle first then he’ll ask his didi, “Didi come, come and push me…”

Occasionally Dylan will ask Bryan to push him but honestly it is not very safe to have Bryan pushing him around. That is because Dylan is not strong enough to “emergency stop” the bicycle. And Bryan can push him go round the room very very fast.

But it is ok.. Dylan loves to push his gege around. Look at how happy they are.

He helps me to sweep the floor during the weekends.

And he helps me to sweep the porch before he goes to school in the morning.

That’s not all.
He helps me to mop the floor.
He helps me to wash the bathroom tiles.
He helps me to drown the plants.
He helps me to cook.
He even helps me to rinse the dishes clean from soap.

Yup, he just loves to help me.

P/S: These above photos were taken late last year. He was still on diapers in the first photo/. Now he is already 100% off diapers, including nights.
During his birthday, one of the teacher asked me what does he like as she’d like to get him a gift. I told her he likes to sweep the floor. So she got him a broom, with the handle that has been cut to his height. He loves the gift!

I called my parents later that day to check on them. Bryan picked up the phone immediately,

“Hello Mummy”
“I miss you mummy.”
“Dylan fell down just now”
“Popo never take care of him”

(Can hear popo’s voice at the back defending herself that the kids have been climbing up. down, everywhere the whole day, and she just went to the kitchen to check on the soup when Dylan fell from the sofa. Both the kids were “wrestling” on the sofa)

“Mummy you come back now.”
“I wait for you ok.”
“You come back now, fast fast.”
“I miss you so much.”

Awww…Bryan, how can I not love you.

P/s: I told him that I will be home when the long hand is at 12 and the short hand is at 6. So gotta cabut from work sharp sharp today to be home by 6pm.

He would be giggling happily as Dylan and I massage his tummy with the medicated oil. Ya, Dylan loves to pretend to put the oil on his ge-ge’s tummy and helping me to massage. He will ask me to rub my palms together till it is warm and apply it to his tummy.

2 nights ago, he asked me,
Bryan: Mommy, what is Fong Yu in English
Me: Medicated oil
Bryan: No. Fong Yu is Wind Oil
Me: Huh?
Bryan: Fong is Wind right, and Yu is Oil right? So Fong Yu = Wind Oil lo…
Me: LOL

I oblige his massage requests as both him and Dylan seem to enjoy it so much. Besides, after the 2 min massage session, he will happily go to sleep.

#2: During breakfast of milk + cornflakes + cocopuffs
Bryan: Mommy, I don’t want milk and cornflakes. I want egg.
Mommy: You want egg? Today you eat cornflakes, tomorrow I will cook egg for you.
Bryan: Egg cannot eat one. EIGHT is number.

#3: Dylan
Mommy: Why is Dylan so cute?
Bryan: Because I love him *kisses Dylan on the cheeks*
Mommy: If you don’t love him?
Bryan: Then Dylan will cry. Cry then will look like monkey. Monkey eats banana.

Today, he devoted the whole morning & afternoon to making you happy.

It was your quality one-on-one time with daddy.

Daddy wants to eat sushi, but you want to eat McD.

When daddy wanted to look at the Superbike exhibition (which have gorgeous sexy models too), you wanted to go to Toy’r'us (Mommy says, “haha”)

When daddy wanted to look at the Transformers exhibition, you wanted to go to Borders.

When daddy wanna shop for some clothing, you wanted to go to the Jusco Playland (who is just next to the men’s clothing dept).

Both of you spent nearly 4 hours in the mall, doing everything that YOU wanted.

So, don’t you think that daddy spoils loves you?

And daddy loves mommy too, because daddy did all that with you so that mommy can go to a photography workshop and have a good time.

P/S: You can look forward to bullying having fun with daddy again in 2 weeks time, coz mommy signed up for another workshop…kekekekekeke..

The last time we took the boys to the playground with my camera, I tried to position the boys on the grass to take a photo of them together.

Both boys were barefoot as they were climbing and playing on the slides.

I carried Bryan to the grass first but when I turned around to carry Dylan next, Bryan froze…

He did not like the sensation of his bare feet on the grass.

He froze and dare not move a single step.

Haiyo…Bryan. Just like what your T-shirt says, “GET A GRIP!”

I let Bryan play with the compact camera unattended last weekend,….and these are what I found when I downloaded the photos later

Actually he took A LOT of photos, but most are quite blur. Need to teach him how to keep his hands steady.

I think if I let him play with the camera more often, I may find more amusing photos…
